Thank You!
June 5, 2015
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
Well, I am not sure where to begin. I was quite overwhelmed with the showing of love and kindness last Sunday during my ordination anniversary celebration. The whole experience far exceeded what I expected. A number of people commented to me that it seemed Heaven had willed the many blessing that were part of the day. So, it is right and just to first thank the Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit for all the blessings of the day! I especially thank God for calling me to the Priesthood and for giving me so many graces! I also thank our blessed Mother, Mary, for her intercession. I thank our patron saints, St. Michael and St. Paul for their intercession and all the saints and angels who help us. I thank my parents and family. I thank our office staff and all our parishioners who helped make this event happen.
I want to thank in a special way those who formed the Anniversary Committee for having the idea and for organizing everything.
I thank all the volunteers who worked so joyfully! It was truly remarkable. I want to thank all who donated toward the new vestment— it is beautiful! I want to thank all those who came to the HolyMass and the meal. Many traveled from long distances. I was so surprised and was overwhelmed by your kindness and presence! Thank you to all who offered prayers and cards!
I pray that this day, such a blessing for me and a beautiful tribute to our High Priest, Jesus Christ, may continue to bring us to deeper unity with our good Lord and one another in the service of His Kingdom, for His greater glory and the salvation of souls!
Through the intercession of Mary, the Mother of the Eucharist and Priests, St. Joseph, the protector the Church, St. Michael, St. Paul and our Guardian Angels may our Lord deepen our love and reverence for His True Presence in the Holy Eucharist!
In Christ through Mary,
Fr. Kasel
