KITUI UPDATE: Living Water Program- Lent 2021
Give Change...Change Lives. Here we are at another season of Lent! Water bottles are available again to support our Partnership of Kitui with much-needed water. Each time you turn your faucet on to take a drink of water, remember there is a child or persons who may be dying because of lack of water. Please be generous this year as you have been in the past to support this project which assists those in Kitui to build dams, supply water tanks for schools, and help CARITAS Kitui to find the areas of the diocese that are in most need of water. May God bless you during this Lenten Season. Questions regarding the Kitui Partnership may be directed to Parish Office 507-356-4280

Synod at Home: Tips and Tools for Growing in Faith
February 18—March 18
Tips and Tools for Growing in Faith New sessions posted weekly through March 18 -- Do it when it works for you! During Lent, we often take on practices to deepen our faith lives and commitment to serving others. But once Easter comes, those practices can easily go to the wayside. How can we make those practices stick, to continue on a path toward holiness? The Synod at Home series takes helpful videos, tips and tools for growing in faith, and pairs them with family-friendly activities based on four pillars: Prayer & Sacraments, Lifelong Learning, Generosity & Service, and Traditions & Fun. Individuals, couples and families will find their faith and relationships strengthened by Synod at Home. Find weekly videos and materials at archspm.org/synod, sign up for emails (archspm.org/synod/updates) or access through the Synod app: text APP to 88202, then in the app search for Archdiocesan Synod.
Thank You!
“Dear Fr. Kasel: I am writing to thank you, and the people of your Parish, for welcoming and supporting the missionary group that came to your parish recently under the Missionary Cooperation Plan of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Each year we participate in this face-to-face encounter with the efforts of one missionary organization so that we might personally share in the story of the Good News of Christ being proclaimed in one part of the world. Your effort continues the tradition going back to St. Paul who gathered assistance for the Church in Jerusalem as an act of communion and encouragement within the Body of Christ. May our Missionary God continue to strengthen you in living out your own call to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
Peace, Deacon Mickey Friesen, Director”
