BOUND BY THE LAW? Understanding Christ's Fulfillment of Judaism Rev. Sebastian Carnazzo, Ph.D. Christ is the end of the law" (Rom 10:4). St. Paul makes this shocking statement in his closing remarks in his letter to the Church in Rome. What does he mean by the words "end" and "law"? The answers to these two questions will also explain why Mark's Gospel can say "Thus he declared all foods clean" (Mark 7:21). In this lecture, we will explore the relationship between the Old Covenant and the New and the meaning and means of salvation in the Christian Good News.
